Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 June 2026 · Working draft — pending legal review.
This policy explains how Adorée processes your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The data controller is RED PLANET (SASU), RCS Marseille 800 391 039, registered office 9 cours Jean Ballard, 13001 Marseille, France. Contact: arnaud@clubadoree.com.
Data we collect
Account and identity data (name, age, email, country, city); profile data you provide (profession, life vision, partner preferences, free-text answers); photographs and, optionally, a voice recording; usage and communication data (matches, messages, email engagement); and payment status (handled by Stripe — we do not store card numbers).
Why we use it, and our legal basis
To provide the matchmaking service and manage your account and subscription (performance of the contract); to review profiles and propose introductions, including automated analysis of your profile text and voice to improve matching (contract and our legitimate interest in matching quality); to send service notifications (contract) and marketing communications (consent, withdrawable at any time); to meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation); and to ensure safety and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
Processors and recipients
We share data only with processors acting on our instructions: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Brevo / Sendinblue (email), Stripe (payments), and AI providers used solely to analyse profile text and voice for matching (Anthropic, for text analysis, and OpenAI, for voice transcription). Your profile is only ever shown to a member after a hand-reviewed, mutually accepted introduction — it is never public.
International transfers
Some processors are located outside the EU (e.g. in the United States). Such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep your profile and account data for as long as your account is active, and for up to three years after your last activity in order to handle any follow-up and prevent abuse. Invoicing and accounting records are kept for ten years, as required by French law. Marketing consent and unsubscribe records are kept for up to three years from your last contact with us. Photographs and voice recordings are deleted when you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact arnaud@clubadoree.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email; this does not stop essential service notifications. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies strictly necessary for the site and your session to function. We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure audience and understand how the site is used, and a first-party attribution cookie that remembers which channel or campaign brought you to us (for example a link in one of our emails or on social media), kept for up to 90 days. Analytics and attribution are used to improve the service and our communication, never to build advertising profiles sold to third parties. Where your consent is required for non-essential cookies, we rely on it and you may withdraw it at any time through your browser settings.
