Limits
The survey is not statistically representative of the full Ukrainian refugee population in Europe. It is a self-selected sample of women engaged with the EU4UA community. Percentages describe the survey sample only.
Two further limits are worth stating. The sample is drawn from women who stayed in contact with a humanitarian platform four years after arrival — likely more settled, and more connected, than the average. And the author is the founder of a matchmaking service built in response to the findings; the survey preceded the service, and the questionnaire asked about relationships among many other topics, but readers should weigh that interest.
What the survey is, and is not
It is the only published dataset we know of that asks Ukrainian women established in Europe specifically about their personal life, their experience of dating applications and what they would want instead. It is not a census, not a probability sample, and not a substitute for the institutional work listed below, which the study quotes for everything outside its own questionnaire.
